Atlanta, GA (May 28, 2013) ----- Montell Jordan/Victory World Music will release their second single from Jordan's first CCM album, Shake Heaven, that is a duet with Dove Award winning artist, Chris August. "You Are" will go for adds at radio May 31, 2013 and debuted last Friday on the morning show with Kevin & Taylor at Atlanta's powerhouse Christian station, The Fish. The song has already received two early adds from KADI/Springfield, MO and WWWA/Freeport, MA. Jordan co- wrote the single with his teenage daughter Sydney, who is a performer with the Victory World Music team, and the single is one of Jordan's favorite songs from the current project. The single will be available for purchase online at all digital outlets June 11, 2013, and the accompanying video will also be distributed May 28, 2013. The video was filmed in Nashville, TN at the historic Marathon Village, and was directed by Matthew Singleton.

"Personally, I feel "You Are" is one of the top three songs I have written in my career," says Jordan. "I wrote a pop love song to my wife nearly 10 years ago and with a rewrite it has become a timeless new love song to God, expressing how a redirected life can become a resurrected one. And working with Chris on the song and video, it reconciles cultures and brings a fresh new collaboration to Christian radio, while at the same time it rekindles the love between man and God as well."

Jordan delivers a powerful performance during the family-themed video that also spotlights August and the Victory World Music team. The production effectively showcases the thoughtful lyrics; I wanna know, I wanna know what love is/So I keep trying/To describe/What it feels like/To walk and talk and live just like Christ/You're the only one who can save my life/I am yours and God you are mine/I see love in everything you do/You are love and love is you.

Jordan has brought a fresh new sound to the CCM marketplace that is resonating with fans radio, and the press. The 2-disc Shake Heaven project, which includes a live performance DVD of the album, raced to #3 on Billboard's Gospel Chart, and the first single and title track peaked at #25 on AC Monitored. Jordan has also been doing several high-profile media interviews that include LA Weekly, Esquire.com, Christian Post, and Beliefnet.
